Learn About Shared Branching!

During the week of May 19, TENCU is joining with other credit unions nationwide to celebrate National Shared Branch Awareness Week. It’s a perfect opportunity to promote the benefits of
Shared Branch – in particular, that members have access to more than 5,000 locations in all 50 states, Puerto Rico andGuam. These are real branches with real people, where members of one credit union can
conduct banking business just as they would at their home branch.
Here are just a few ways that Shared Branch benefits members of TENCU:
• Make transactions while on vacation. If a member is traveling within the 50 states, Puerto Rico or Guam, there’s likely a Shared Branch nearby. So, if they need to access cash or make a transfer, they’re covered!
• Get quick funds in case of an emergency. When disaster strikes, we’ll likely need cash. If a member’s home branch is affected by a power outage or natural disaster, they are always welcome at a Shared Branch.
• Help college students manage their finances. Credit union membership is a great way to teach money management to away-from-home students. And when they need a little parental support, help is just a branch visit away.
