1 E-Statement: Members who choose not to receive e-statements will incur a $3 paper statement fee per statement cycle.
2 Please be advised that, effective March 1, 2025, a $5.00 monthly maintenance fee will apply to your Experience Checking account. To avoid this fee, maintain an average daily balance of $10,000.00 or more. Refer to our Schedule of Fees on the disclosures page for a complete list. If none of these requirements are fulfilled, a monthly service charge of $5.00 is assessed for each month not fulfilled.
3 Free Debit Account: To be eligible for the free debit account, members must enroll in our e-statement program.
4 Eligibility for Remote Deposit Capture: Member must be at least 18 years of age, have an active TENCU account open for at least 60 days, have no history of returned deposit items, have a valid email address, and be a current user of TENCU's mobile app. Please keep all Mobile Deposited Checks for 90 days after the deposit. Endorse your check with "For Mobile Deposit Only to TENCU Only." Checks deposited Monday-Friday before 4:00 p.m. will be credited to your account on the same day. All other deposits will be credited to your account on our next business day. There is a $5,000.00 & 5-item daily limit, with a max of $10,000.00 per month.
5 If the student does not have a TNID or TNDL, a U.S. passport can be accepted as a Primary ID. NOTE: Student must provide documentation from School District (Schedule of Courses or Report Card) to confirm student’s Physical Address. If the Student cannot provide proof of Address, an account will not be opened without a TNDL or TNID. The parent or Guardian’s Address can only be used if the Parent/Guardian is added as a Joint to the Account.
6 If the student does not have a valid School ID, a US Passport, Social Security Card, or Birth Certificate must be provided as a secondary ID. In addition, the student must also provide either a letter from the school confirming enrollment, a schedule of courses, a report card printed from the school, county website, or a verification letter from the Tennessee Department of Education if home-schooled.
